We are a private, non-profit agency dedicated to reducing the incidence of child abuse in Dutchess County through prevention, education and intervention. Last year we provided adult education and support services to more than 3,700 parents, teachers, human services and medical personnel and child-care workers. We also helped more than 13,000 abused and at-risk children.

We offer ongoing parenting classes, a series of workshops for parents on issues like positive discipline, night-time fears, and so forth tailored to meet the needs of the parents. We also do presentations for parents, civic groups, PTA.s and other community groups. Free tours of the Center are also available to help raise local awareness about child abuse.
