Dear Alma:
What is the age in NY for leaving a child alone to watch themselves
Alma Says:
There is no legal age. If children were reported for lack of supervision the investigator would ask a series of questions to determine if their self-supervision was appropriate. If not charges of endangerment or lack of supervision could be pressed.
